Joining WCN means a lot since I have a passion for conservation of environment and love for animals. Being part of WCN brings joy to me; to be able to support an organization that cares for the planet and wildlife reverbs with me. Growing up in Mexico, on a farm with my grandmother, I was always surrounded by animals. My grandmother taught me how to be empathetic and nurture them with love. My family work-life is deeply rooted with farming. Growing up, I was constantly exposed to cultivating different crops sustainably. Today, I am not working on a farm but I continue to carry on with family values of conservation of the planet. Prior to WCN I was a Behavioral Therapist and helped change people’s lives; especially individuals on the spectrum. When not at work I love traveling, exploring new cuisines and spending time with my dog Simba.
