Make a Difference on World Lion Day
This World Lion Day, we celebrate these iconic big cats and the communities living alongside them—because a real future for lions depends on both.
As habitats shrink and livestock and lions compete for the same territory, conflict has become one of the biggest threats to lion survival. Through the Lion Recovery Fund, we support grantees across Africa using tools like predator-proof bomas and community lion monitoring to reduce that conflict at its source. Your donation protects two things at once: the families who depend on their livestock, and the lions who depend on their habitat.
Continue learning about these majestic animals and join us August 10 to protect their future.
